A) Your best bet is to text or email me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.  Let me know when the event's for, what your budget is, and what menu items you have in mind, along with any dishes that are not listed on the menus.  I can then get back to you with my availability and suggestions.

My poultry and goat meat are supplied by Wishbone Poultry in Hoxton Park, Sydney and ARE halal.  Unfortunately my halal beef & lamb supplier has gone out of business as of April 2010, and until I source a new supplier, I have been getting them from a non-halal wholesale suppliers, Moree Meats and Aldo's.  I do not use pork or any of its by-products in my dishes as I don't eat pork myself.

I seldom use it directly, but a lot of my dishes do contain ingredients that contain a small amount of msg.  Please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monosodium_glutamate if you need more information about msg and its side effects.  I sympathize with people with allergies but my focus is to achieve authenticity in my cooking rather than allergy avoidance so please contact me directly if you have any concerns about any of my dishes.

Yes, a lot of my dishes are gluten-free - I'm in the process of updating my menus so this and other allergy-related information are readily available for each dish, but if in doubt by all means do contact me.

A) I use blended vegetable oil.  I do, however, sometimes use the oil to fry the peanuts that I use to make satay sauce with, then use it in my curries; most peanut-allergy sufferers I've spoken to seem to think that this will not cause a reaction, but please be aware that you're consuming it at your own risk.
